Hey jonah um i know ur dad and da whole matagitaua family because my grandma is matagitaus sister.my name is tali u probably dont know but no worries coz i dont know u 2.(small world aye).but yea howz sarai ,faapito,sili and samu....havent heard from those guys for ages the last time ive seen them was at aunty Pisi's funeral...
So yea u might think random but i just wanna hola to say hi nd say hi 2 ur family 2!!!! Nd keep up the Nofoalii spirit!!!Peace out!!!!

Hey peeps,
Im from the Villiage of Nofoali'i as well... My grandmother is from there... her mother was a Nofoaliian... My great grandmother was the Taupou of Nofoalii... Fuatino Taimalie Meapelo Tamasese... we also have ties to the Tanuvasa Family my uncles currently hold titles of the Tanuvasa fam bam.. Tanuvasa Tausili, Tanuvasa Nu'umativa... Tanuvasa represent!! But yeah just wanna add mah 2 sene as well.. Nofoalii hardout. Our other ties are also to Faleasiu where we get the Va'auli Sauvao (va'auli is our ties to the Le Auva'a... Le Auva'a Va'auli Tuala) so yeah...

| Talofa 2 everyone from Nofoalii and also those who r not. First of all, I just want to clear the air with the Tanuvasa name. When u do decide to mention the Tanuvasa name, then would also please mention which side of the Tanuvasa family you are from. I know that there is only one foundation(the blood) and those that carry the name thru the MATAI. And if you r blood then you know who you are. If you don't then u still have to do your homework. I do not come on here to hate on those who carry the last name by MATAI and not by blood. I am of blood and I know who is the first blood and the current blood who is the ULU MATAI IN NOFOALII. There is just way too many people or families out there that carry the name but are not of blood. I say this not to be disrespectful to anyone. So if I do offend anyone then EXCUSE ME FOR MY WRONG. This issue has been an ongoing issue within my family and something that I voice my opinion on to the elders of my family. I believe that if u do choose to become a MATAI then your current last name should be THEN RECOGNIZED as a MATAI name instead of baring the TANUVASA name. I want all of U to know that my gripe is also within my family. U see my father is now the eldest of his family and his time has come to be the ULU MATAI. But guess what? It is also under the Tanuvasa(LUATITIA'I) name but not of blood. Though he is my dad, I also disagree with it. His blood last name is LOLE. And so LOLE should be the MATAI name but when he receives his title this summer in Nofoali'i to be the ULU MATAI of his TANUVASA(LUATITTIA'I) lineage side of the house. I do have the best of both worlds because my dad is of inheritance and my mom is of blood which I AM VERY PROUD OF....So if u do understand and know your GAFA to the name of TANUVASA then please be PROUD and mention it. If not then inquire about it. FAAFETAI LAVA I LE AVANOA! A leai TANUVASA e le atoa AANA!

could n't agree more.My surname is Tanuvasa and my family is from Nofoalli.My grandad and grandmas names are Faaafu and Maria Tanuvasa and we had our family reunion in Nofoalli last year.Im not that fussed over bad blood or not as Im quite proud of my surname and I hope that everyone else that bears this name is also proud.Sorry if I have upset anyone but I see a lot of arguing about who is who and it gets a bit annoting at times.I know who my relations are< or at least the majority  > and if someone else has my surname but aint related Im not fussed.Just means my surname lives on.The problem I have is all this stuff about matai and bloodline.It gets really depressing reading all the negative comments.
That said I feel a lot better now.
