I have heard that Cabo is an up and coming real estate hotspot to invest and have also heard that the weather beats South Florida by far all year_?

Also what is the average-median price of a home and also Condo_?

How long do they Mex Gov allow an american to visit_?

What does it take to live in Cabo year round for a US citizen_?

Most important are there Wi-Fi hotspots and high speed internet companies like Comcast cable companies here in the states providing services like such_?

thanks...

It is up and coming and now more so b/c there is American financing available. Before you were subject to some pretty steep interest rates, unless you wanted to pay cash via a second mortgage on your current home here.

Median price is tough to pin down. Build your own on the corridor, or get in on a brand new development and you are looking at around $100-180k for about 1500 sq ft. You can still find established homes for reasonable rates, but a lot don't have A/C and THAT is a must down there. Summer electric bills are heinous.

The Mexican tourist visa is good for 3 months typically. You can easily get extensions. To live in Cabo year-round, you need to have an FM3 and that takes a bit to get, but eveyone gets one.

There are not  yet a lot of Wi-Fi hotspots, but that is on the cusp of changing.

Hope that helps. If you need further info, Google it and you will get a better idea of home prices.
