| Anyone want to give me the lowdown on this resort - the good, bad and ugly?

Wonderful place, but no longer a Secret ! Great location on the East End of St Thomas. White sand beach. Beach chairs. Faces westerly, so you are treated to late afternoon sun and sunsets. Dive and sunning platform off the beach in azure waters (sometimes Barry-cuda is in residence, but he's no worry). Very nice beginner level snorkeling off to the left and right as you stand on the beach facing the water.
Well maintained buildings and landscaping. It's a smaller complex so it doesn't have that overwhelming highrise resort feeling like a Marriott or Wyndham. Lower room advantages : you can walk right out and be on the beach, but you'll have a lot of people walking by especially on weekends; I'd recommend at least a 2nd floor unit (be sure the air conditioning is working right off the bat, since these rooms warm up in the afternoon).
Onsite and on the water, open air Blue Moon Restaurant and Bar is top notch (it has its own website).
Convenient location to nearby Red Hook, pedestrian and auto ferries to nearby islands, and other beaches on the East End.

Karen,
Did you wind up staying at Secret Harbour in St Thomas ? If so, how about sharing your experience here.
Is Barry-Cuda still in residence under the swim platform (visible offshore in the photo) ?
