| i bought land from trans caribbean trust. it is beach front, north of the road that goes between the island. it is on the east side of the island. i was told that donald trump might be building a 4,000 room resort on this side of the island. i have recently discovered that the road that trans caribbean trust promised to build for access behind each lot is no more. they don't return any phone calls. are there any other land owners on cozumel that have any info?? i can be reached at agelectric@aol.com

Here is a quote from another board
People purchasing land on the east side of Cozumel will not be able to build anything. Those lands will not be granted construction permits, according to Sr. Sergio Soria X., Director of Urban Development. This has been under investigation since last year because estates have been divided into hectares and sold, but the buyers have not been informed that they can only build a one-room cabin per four hectares. Those who have purchased less than that will not be able to build anything.
