I received a letter today claiming I have won thosands of Euro on a lotto draw, that I have'nt even entered? I knew this has to be a scam (I should be so lucky!).   Its a guy operating from Spain but he sounds African.  Everything about it is so unprofessional but because I have nothing to lose I gave my information to see what the heartless scam artist will do next!!! Before I gave my personal info I emptied my bank account, and will surely report this to authorities.  Please, Please, Please be aware of this letter it goes something like this........RE:AWARD NOTIFICATION LA PRIMITIVA LOTTERY PROMOTIONS PROGRAM held (on date). Due to the mix up of numbers and names, the names were later released on (date). Your name was entered an alternative number attached to Batch number: You drew lucky numbers..............The name this guy goes by is Pablo Garcia.

Just wanted more people to know that I also received this letter in Ireland today. Thought all my Christmas's had come together !! It all sounded so good except as previously mentioned the quality of the paper is poor and that it all looked like a photocopy made me suspect it was a scam.  I did ring my "claims agent" Diego Sanchez who told me to fill in the form and fax him a copy of my identification.  Then I went on line to check it out and boy am I glad I found perspectives.com.

I am not an elderly person and I do not like the fact that these people feel that they can fool me into believing that I have won nearly one million euro when I have not even entered any competition.

Anyway, all I want to say to everyone out there is beware :X

Aside from that terribly myth about the rain falling mainly on the plain (I mean come on, have you been to the frickin Pyrenees?), I think this is one of the sorrier hoaxes perpetrated on Spain.  Don't fall for it!
