Good, because my prediction is that it will break 13,000 again real soon.
Hey indy, how much longer do I have to wait?

The way this President is handling things, probably another 10 years.
As opposed to your guy, who did such great things for the economy. ![[eyeroll]](/forums/themes/default/sarcasm.gif)
Bush was "my guy" based on what he SAID he was going to do. What he DID is a different story... I voted for a conservative, and got a liberal. Obama is acting exactly like Bush did, it's a major freakin disappointment.

To your credit, you probably did complain about the things Bush did that you didn't agree with. I believe you put ideology ahead of party.
Why would you expect Obama to not be liberal? Did you think he was going to run as a liberal and then be conservative once he got into office?
I'm not thrilled to add a trillion or 2 to the debt, but how much will the debt go up if the global economy tanks for 5 or 10 years? I'm hopeful that an influx of government spending will restart the economy. It may not work, but I'm pretty sure sitting around doing nothing will result in a disaster.
I think spending is warranted right now, but once things start moving again, then we need to make some serious cuts and start making some real progress on reducing this crazy debt.

| How can the Dow be up when everything else in our economy is in the crapper? Goes to show you numbers can be manipulated.
