Hello,
My Name is Michael Stephens and this is where I will start.
Family as far as I know Copenhagen or Ronne
Late 1880 Peter Larsen
Son: Robert Ejler Larsen DOB: 10/28/1909
Daughter: Hjordis Larsen (family name)
There may be more brothers or sisters but this all the info that I have.
Hjordis's Daughter: Ruth, from what I know married a merchant marine with the last name of Wince, moved to the U.S. for a few years and then moved back to denmark. Ruth had 3 children Sharon, John, and Joe ages today should be between 40 - 50 Sharon being the youngest. If any one has any information it would be greatly apprecieated.

Thanks for your reply. But I may have put some facts in the wrong order. Hjordis Larsen has more then likely passed as she would be around 107 yrs.
Around 1880 Greatgrand Father Peter Larsen was either the owner or worker in a Haberdashery in Copenhagen. As far as I know he had at least 2 children but there may have been others.
(Daughter) DOB: 00/00/1902 Hjordis Larsen, (Married name unknown), Hjordis had atleast one daughter named Ruth, who according to what I have been told was married to a Merchant Marine with the last name of Wince or Winces. Ruth has at least 3 children Sharon the youngest, John in the middle and Joe the Oldest. . Estimated ages are Sharon in her late 30's and Joe mid to late 40's. I have been told that they lived in The US for a short period of time (maybe in PA.) and then moved back to the Denmark. This could have been mid to late 60's or early 70's. Joe amd myself are about the same age 46.
(Son) DOB: 10/28/1909 DOD: Summer of 1977 Robert Ejler Larsen (MY Grandfather) moved to the United States around 1927 Passport info is hard to understand. Port Jefferson, New York. Married Hattie May King and they had a Son (Robert Larsen) and Daughter Jeanne (Larsen) Stephens. I am Jeanne's Oldest Son.
I have some more photos and am going to try to post to the web. I soon as I can do that I will post.
Any help with this is great I will be traveling to Denmark in June 2009 and would love to meet some family while there.

Dane,
Thanks a whole lot for your information. I have not heard back from Sharon yet, but I took a chance and sent out a message to all of the Winces on FaceBook and I received a reply from Thomas Winces (living in Denmark) and he says that Sharon and John are his Aunt and Uncle and that Joe is really Albert my guess (Albert Joseph) and is his Father. This great news, I hope we can get a conversation going and we can meet in June when I go over there. Also are you in the Copenhagen area?

Hope you can help again. I am trying to book a hotel in Ronne, I sent an email to Sverres Hotel but have not received a response. We have also book rooms at the Griffen, but then they where canceled and now we are not getting any replys to our emails.

My name is Michael Stephens I am interested in booking 2 rooms from June 3, 2009 to June 4, 2009. We will be spending the day/night In Ronne to do some site seeing. As this is our first visit to Denmark we seem to be having some difficulty booking rooms and communicating with other Hotels in the area, could you please help us out with accommodations for these dates? We will be staying in Copenhagen the rest of the week and will be taking the train/ferry to Ronne.

Try this first (links below). I'd like to help more, but am pretty preoccupied with work, studies at the moment. If nothing else works (which it should, as tourism is a pretty substantial part of Bornholms economy, and as such they have a pretty profetional approach to it) I may be able to take further action.

from what i can see Sverres Hotel is a small family business, and theire website don't have an english translation, so if I were you i'd avoid the ones without translation on theire websites.
