It amazes me how many Liberals call us haters then five minutes later what they say to us. They call us intolerable when in fact they are the ones who are intolerable towards christians and others just because they support the Republican party. Heres one from NClib: Only fat, redneck Republicans eat at McDonald's nimrod. We liberals take pride in our health! Why do you hate Liberals so much? Theres also the topic that DEMINUTAH Ya thats right didnt think it started called "Republicans are stupid." Yeah it sounds like we hate every one. These are just two of them there is much more where those came from. |

*sigh* yeah I have had liberals throw insults and stuff when they can't pick apart an arguement... first they try to say there are spelling errors... (and if there are, that is the FIRST thing they point out, and often their post is laden with errors too).  Then if that's all fine and well they nearly always resort to insults. Along with saying that every media source out there (that isn't radically left) is obviously right biased.I feel your pain. Come chill here a while.  |

This is a wicked fun thread. Heatherly, the comment about libs/dems investing in a happy meal was priceless! Thanks! I agree that many libs are just wierd about strange things. Over the weekend I was with the rock band I manage - up at the studio (we were mixing and mastering a demo CD) and I had been here during a break. I left the site open as I was coming back to post again. My lead guitarist saw the site and had nothing but sneers for me during the next hour. Now, he is only 17 and I am a ripe 50 year old, so it's not going to burn much, but it's odd. I wouldn't respond like that to MY friends who are online at a site with which I disagree. Phoof! It's just wierd. BTW, my mother was a dem and ate at Mc D's a lot! But then again, she was also anti-abortion, anti-capital punishment, and died before gay marriage became an issue. Who knows? She could have turned out to be a fine Republican after all!!! |

Funny that they would use McDonalds as a stereotype for conservatives. I eat there everyonce in a great while, whenever I feel like disregarding flavor and my standards for a meal. I personally feel that if we dropped a million Big Mac's in Fallujah that it would end the hostile activity within three hours. Everyone would be to busy crapping their pants to shoot a gun! |

I saw most of it, I fell asleep about two thirds through it. I pretty much made up my mind before I saw it that I wasn't going to eat fast food like I used to, but after seeing that I really have been avoiding the fastfood restuarants pretty well. I am a sucker for Burger King breakfast though. That movie should be shown in all schools, wouldn't you agree? |

They come back for more too... as if it's their duty on this planet to provoke you. It's not our fault that they are a fry short of a Happy Meal, but they shouldn't be complaining about one of the most successful business matrices that have generated jobs across this great country and in other nations as well. Or maybe they dislike anything that is more progressive than them... I've lived in nations with that kind of mentality-tearing down the successful to make themselves feel better and feel the power of casting chaos. It's all they have. I guess tolerance, like we render our children then they misbehave, is how we should approach this. After all, we all have the right to speak up... we also have the right to ignore...  |

I run 5 miles a day, strength train 6 days a week and eat a healthy, balanced diet. Body fat 10%. Every now and then, that McDonald's craving hits me and I endulge. I was sitting at the College Republicans table at my University(before the election) trying to sign people up for the College Republicans and we had this pamphlet out called "Who is the REAL John Kerry?" Anyway, some nasty woman walks by and says "I ask myself who the real George Bush is" and she walks away. Then she comes back and says to us "I don't know how you can call yourselves Christians and vote for a man like Bush" and she kept going on, but all I heard was yada yada yada and I say to her, "I don't see how anyone can claim that the world is not better off without Saddam Hussein" and she tried tellng me that that wasn't the point, but by then anything she has said had lost any relevance. Liberals. Sometimes you just have to pity their ignorance. Also, my friend had a great quote in his AIM profile today: “The most important thing for this country is now for the GOP to unify and get some stuff done. None of this bipartisan crap or working together. They don't work with us when they have power. We don't need to work with them. No concessions. No compromise. No holding back.” I love that quote. |
