Dark wholewheat bread with Tvorog (Russian Cottage Cheese- available in any large U.S. City), is a great evening snack!

Two scoops of lowfat ice cream or sorbet is my favorite snack/dessert, especially after a heavy meal. ;)

I also like taking lowfat vanilla yogurt, fruit (mixed berries and banana, especially [love]), honey and some granola and blending them into a smoothie, but that's more for breakfast than dessert.

Being a salt fiend, I tend to gravitate toward snacks which are salt-laden. Having massively low blood pressure makes this okay with the "good doctor". ;)

Cottage cheese doused with a good dollop of curry, garlic and seasoned salt along with a splash of tabasco is yummy.

A nice cold baked paotato sprinkled with seasoned salt and a wisp of cayenne is great.

Then there's always a can of olives (yup, the whole can).

Or opening a jar of sweet and sour cabbage.

Dang. Now I'm hungry!!!

:P

Popcorn. You can buy the low-butter microwave varieties, too.

Once in a while, though, I have to run into the cinema complex and get a mongo bucket of popcorn with 'buttered topping' because, well, nothing else compares. You can buy the popcorn without going to a show.

And green apples, unlike their red counterparts, are also a great source of vitamin C and other essential anti-oxidants.

Same here ....with lots of mango, papaya(good for digestion),berries maybe or grapes .Homemade sorbet is good....all you need is an ice-cream maker and almost any kind of fruit.

I love real good coffee also and chocolate with nuts.

I like to eat fresh veggies with ranch dressing. It is a quick and cheap snack that everyone will enjoy. It is a very healthy snack as well.
