I just noticed he looks like a chipmunk...I mean why is his cheeks....especially on the left side of his face puffy...it looks like someone clocked him with a right hook...please tell me!:?

he had skin cancer removed from his face a couple of years ago, but I noticed that he seems to look more full in the cheeks during this last election period, I hope he's not fighting more cancer.

Can we all agree on not mocking John McCain?


Whatever side you're on politically, its hard to dismiss that he's a good man and had some hard issues to deal with. No one should mock those wounded (or killed) in action and no one should mock cancer and the fight against it. It serves no purpose whatsoever.

he is a great man. Probably my favorite guy in politics.

....but no one is above mocking for me. Everyone should have a sense of humor. I'm sure McCain would laugh at the idea that some think he looks like Dr. Evil.

McCain's swollen cheek has nothing to do with Vietnam era injuries - for chrisakes, this guy has been photographed and filmed a million times a year for over thirty years after returning from Nam and there was never in all tghat time any hint of swollen jowels. The disturbing 'swollen cheek thing' has got to do with some health problem of the Senator's of the past few years.

McCain's medical history is not a matter of pubic record.

But with all due respect, he does need to tell the American electorate why he looks like he's has a ping-pong ball stuck in the back of his left cheek.
