i am trying to find info on "skylark"....the absolutely gorgeous 6 ft 6in bass player.  no info here in the u.s.a.    no where is his real name mentioned....how old he is....if he's married or not?   the only info out there about him is that he is bi-racial....and came from the netherlands.   does anyone know anything about him?    i went to a doobie brothers concert last month here in pa....near philadelphia.   he's the most gorgeous man and biggggggggggg.....love him!   hot hot hot!   i need to find out more about this guy!   and any great photos would be appreciated too!   he can put his boots under my bed anytime!

<snip>Stop the bus, gimme my bass, and count to four.” That’s my motto as The Doobie Brothers’ bassist. One of the questions I’m most often asked by people at our concerts is, “Where’s your next show?” and they seem to think I’m kidding when I say, “I don’t know.” Truth is that, on most nights, I won’t know where our next stop is. I don’t care where it is. I’m just out there, trying to give 100% every night, whether we’re playing a cozy theater or a huge outdoor event. I try to approach it the same way, to see to it that we leave the people feeling like they’ve just felt the earth move. Or at least had a raucous, rockin’ time…

Still touring...edit:

Tour Dates
  • 06/18/09 in The Doobie Brothers in Memphis, TN at Memphis Botanic Garden
  • 06/19/09 in The Doobie Brothers in Atlanta, GA at Chastain Park Amphitheatre
  • 06/20/09 in The Doobie Brothers in Charlotte, NC at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
  • 06/21/09 in The Doobie Brothers in Birmingham, AL at City Stages - Legacy Credit Stage
  • 06/23/09 in The Doobie Brothers in Raleigh, NC at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion
