Nothing against all the great pizza restaurants out there, but I like mine the best. It's inexpensive, easy to make and fun for the whole family.
There are tons of recipes out there but it's basically ; flour, water, yeast,a pinch of sugar for the dough. Then you can use any kind of sauce, cheese and whatever else you like.
One thing I haven't tried yet is grilled pizza - Bobby Flay and Emeril Lagasse did some that looked pretty good on food net.

If you're making pizza, the only way to go is to forget commercial yeast and use sourdough.

Find a devout Buddhist Monk. They make great pizza.
Okay, the explanation. My wife and I got married at my Uncles place in Santa Cruz. He is a Buddhist (Bu-Jew). He had a temple on the grounds and frequently opened his home to Buddhists traveling through.
At the time of the wedding he was putting up an older Monk and his assistant. One night my wife to be at any moment, myself and the young assistant were chatting away. He was making some food for the older monk and he made my wife and I a pizza. (I swear). And it was great! (I swear).
And this is coming from a New Yorker.
On a side note: It's a GREAT marriage. Could it have been the pizza?
