Rachel Maddow totally sold out, Her radio show was progressive, but the TV show is totally tabloid "Crossfire" type crap bitching about Fox News/RushLimbo/Palin.
Olberman has no street cred because without Glenn Beck, Limbo, and Fox to bicker with, he has no show.
Randi Rhodes does the same thing. The liberal talkers get so much mileage from Limbo, Beck and Fox News clips, that they should pay them royalties for using their material.
Ron Reagan is milk toast but acceptable. Ultimately, he reinforces the stereotype that liberals are wimpy, unwilling to fight and are a pushover. One caller said "Obama was a white guy, a in black mans clothing." Milktoast Reagan had no comeback and just took it.
Obama isn't a fighter BTW. He's too wimpy and is a pushover too, it doesn't mean he's white. Just a yuppie dealmaker and game player. Maybe he should start to fire all the Republicans in his cabinet.
Air America Radio and MSNBC are just using the daily shots at Palin/Beck/O'Reilly for the two minutes hate to keep the Democratic herd in line.
We all know what the score is with Fox News, but the liberal talkers keep the same tabloid bicker fest going because it is tabloid infotainment not news/journalism.
Olberman is a hack and being from ESPN its no mystery that everyone from that channel is a geek.

It's a shame Randi became so strident and, well, bitchy. She's sharp as a tack and her research was top notch until she went over the edge.
I like Garafalo, too. Rachel Maddow is brilliant but has been reading too much of her own PR.

Rachel Maddow said in an interview with Leslie Stahl of 60 minutes, that she hates being called a progressive or even an Obama supporter. That is telling.
Who is she, the CIA?
If she thinks she's some "objective journalist" she's having delusions of grandeur. She also said she did not think Obama was a liberal, as do I. Most Democrats are so Republican now, they barely defend left wing issues.
When I read that Bill Clinton said in support of Paul Kagame, a vicious dictator in the Congo, I thought
Clinton should be arrested for supporting a war criminal.
"Paul Kagame, who was trained by the U.S. military at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, has been a regular visitor at Harvard University, the James Baker III Institute in Houston, Texas, the White House, and the Pentagon. U.S., European, and South African military interests have continued to support various factions in Central Africa, arming militias and rebel groups through proxy armies from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) in south Sudan. France's presence in Central Africa is based out of Gabon, the major point of French military penetration on the continent."
"Terror continued in Rwanda under the new RPA government of Paul Kagame, with Amnesty International documenting a pattern of assassinations, arbitrary imprisonment, and "disappearances." Nearly all political opponents-Tutsi or Hutu-have been labeled "genocidiares" and Amnesty International has protested that some trials and executions of accused genocidiare collaborators have been tainted and politically-motivated."
"The first Rwandan invasion of its huge neighbor to the west occurred in 1996. According to the influential "Africa Confidential" newsletter, Major Gen. Paul Kagame visited the Pentagon in August 1996, conferring with Washington prior to launching a grand plan to unseat Mobutu Sese Seko. While the U.S. public was consumed with the 1996 presidential elections, Rwanda was preparing its war against Zaire. It began with the shelling of Hum refugee camps in eastern Congo with Katusha missiles, killing non-combatants."

"The U.S mainstream media, especially television (e.g., CBS News’ Lara Logan) and talk radio but also the Associated Press wire service, has played a major role in confusing the American general public about the reasons for and the execution of America’s Afghan war. Where are all the photos of those obliterated and/or maimed by U.S troops?"

| Some of my favorite's are Rachel Maddow,Bill Maher,Amy Goodman,Keith Olbermann, and Arianna Huffington.Although i havent been able to keep up with them or politics much in quite awhile and i've missed them.I've learned a lot about what's going on from the newspaper and from Perspectives since i returned to the forum after a two year hiatus.Although i hardly consider myself a conservative,i do believe they make some valid point's sometimes.
