sorry Q --BUT I THINMK YOU ARE MOVING INTO physics- The science of matter and energy and their interactions---NOT MASS OR MATTER IN LIGHT TRAVELLING
HOWEVER I COULD BE WRONG
Speeds faster than that of light are encountered in physics but in no such cases is any matter or information transmitted faster than c.

Yea I'm amazed too that a thread based on mythology & utter religious based rubbish could go so long.
Just goes to show that there is heaps of folks out there in this day & age that still swallow this load of medievel pagan bollox.

???
Umm... of course we're talking about cutting edge physics theory and research when we talk about experimentation with particle entanglement.
There's also this bit from earlier this year out of Los Alamos National Labs (presumably having nothing to do with entanglement):
http://www.universetoday.com/2009/06/30/device-makes-radio-waves-travel-faster-than-light/
We still have huge inroads to make before we have a better working knowledge of how exactly particle entanglement operates over vast distances. We only know that every indicator shows that it does.

Why do people buy into this sh*t?
It never happens, never.
You'd think these people would tire of being wrong.
I guess they just have no pride.
On Jan 1, 2013, will the 2012'ers admit they're stupid?

I personally think different worldviews are interesting...
What day marks the Mayan New Year, anyway? I think it would be an awesome excuse to have a party...

You're thinking of 12/12/2012 ?
I believe 12/21/2012 has more significance. It's the beginning of the winter solstice (3 shortest days of the year). Or for you Christians out there, 12/21/2012 marks the anniversary of the coming(birth) of Christ. Think Christmas.
Or, even better yet, 12/21/2012 marks the end of the Age of Pieces (think Jesus fish) and the beginning of the age of Aquarius (think death of Christ and the coming of the next messiah Aquarius). ~26,000 years ago it was the ending of the age of Aries the Ram (think old testament, false gods and all that) and the coming of the age of Pieces. You see the first "christ" wasn't born 2000 years ago, he(?) was born 26,000 years ago....ect ect. The Christians were just the latest to tell the (bible) story, it's been told over and over and over again, for thousands of years.
every 26000 years is the basis for the movie "2012" <-- And now you know the rest of the story. ![[cool]](/forums/themes/default/cool-smiley-027.gif)

All you are aware of course that the end of the world in 2012 will happen only thanks to Russians. To be more precise - thanks to one Russian, Yuri Knorozov, who decoded Mayan script. If not him you'd not notice such a date.

By the way, if somebody hasn't seen the great movie of Mel Gibson - Apocalypto, you should do it immediately.

One of best films I've seen. It's quite a rare thing when great artist makes great film by himself.

Joe, you should learn how to write letters, it will help you to express what you think (if you do). May I suppose you are so a fan of America because they invented comics for people like you?

No Joe, you're a very ignorant man with no sence of humor. This is the reason my posts are boring for you, you just don't understand what I write.
And you read all my posts, so, you're not quite sincere...

I'm joking at those who's the most stupid at the moment. Mazel is (wisely) hiding somewhere, I've not seen recently his posts in threads I post in, but you're so kind to so often give me opportunities to joke. Are you leaving already? Joe, it's not fair, I;ve just started, you'll miss all the fun about you.
