When Obama chokes on his peanuts at the clubhouse, and falls face first in a bunch of broken glass, maybe then he'll match up with former Prez Blinky.   [peace-victory]

Golf is a great way to get the people around you to relax and open up. Since it appears he is playing golf with people who are advising him it is a great way to get open dialog on issues going.

Plus, I doubt it takes him long to play a round of golf. For some reason I don't expect there are too many foursomes ahead of him to slow him down.

But I wonder how much wood he's chopped since taking office. I suspect Bush still has the lead in that category.

The president is never on vacation---none of them, including BO.  A silly argument for any side.

I agree with you. Golf is a great way to get the people around you to relax and open up. But the one thing is for sure, golf is too expensive enough than other traditional sports that we are playing nowadays.

Civility and bipartisanship in foreign affairs are both earmarks of the Rino. Time to drum the Decider out of what is left of his party.

As a "sport," golf is right up there with NASCAR for environmental damage and unsustainability.

Did you really know you were going to get burned on this one????????????????

Bush spends 452 days at Crawford ranch.
The lazyest bastard that ever took office in US POTUS history.

Spent more days on holiday than any US president ever, & you're rubbishing a current president who takes a day off known & again...............pleeeese, give us a break.

"Bush has now made 77 trips to the ranch during his presidency. If he departs on New Year's Day as scheduled, he will have spent 490 full or partial days there, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News, who keeps records of Bush's travels. That's one of the highest numbers of presidential vacation days in history."

Bush was always know as a slacker and daddy's boy, he failed at everything he tried, except politics. People who live in glass ideologies shouldn't throw stones.

At what point did pointing out worse behavior become a justification for bad behavior?  I guess if i just molest 5 children its ok with the Dems.....as long as the guy who lived in my house before me molested 10.

Grasping for straws?

Since when does playing golf or taking an exorbitant amount of vacation time while or nation is at war equate to molesting children?

These are the kinds of ridiculous threads lot and his fellow radical right wingers are forced to come up with in their hysterical desperation to figuratively lynch a negro President.

Agreed.

The President also has ZERO privacy. I would hate to have that job.

Funny, Bush took the most breaks ever and had the least press conferences. Obama at least tells us what he is doing. NICE TRY.

Yeah, I kind of agree with this. Bush's critics blasted him for spending a lot of time away from the white house, but it's not as if he dropped off the radar and became inaccessible to his advisors. He'd still be making decisions every day and handling things, just not from his desk in the oval office.

Breaks?  Give ME a break!  What BS, Mal.  The presidency is a 24/7 job, even in the case of this incompetent you helped elect.  As for these "press conferences" of Obama's, what you mean is his never ending campaign for preisdent.  Wonderful.  Obama spends inordinate time on propagandizing and next to none on actually leading.

I see you waited until Bush was accused of taking too much time off to get all bent out of shape...  [eyeroll]
