Nov 2010 should be on everyone's mind
Obama has one year to turn things around, as does congress. Health Care Reform with a public option, cap and trade, Wall Street reform, Afghanistan, unemployment
If you think things are difficult now, wait until a few more repubs get back into the Senate. That's when everything stops dead in it's tracks
The repubs stand to gain probably not enough to control but enough to make the US Congress look like the California legislature- ideologicaly frozen, possibly for years
Nothing will get done. Most of the repubs are psychotic mouth foaming ideologs with nothing to offer except spending freezes and tax cuts
Better get on the ball, time is running out

The Republican party has been doing our work for us. Every black individual I know has been pissed off by the rampant racism of the tea party movement and one coworker of mine who has never voted in her life has told me she will vote in 2010 because of the racism she has seen since Obama was elected.

Moderation is fine when it comes to booze, but Obama being a moderate is going to get the dems run over in 2010
Get out of Afghanistan, push the public option
The second stimulus is needed but because Obama decided on a "moderate" amount instead of going whole hog we probably won't get one now
