Every ethnic group seems themselves as competing with every other group, and each group thinks they're the best.
Therefore, each group is "racist," meaning (a) recognizes inherent differences between races and (b) prefers its own group to others.
The worst racists of all are those from the "I have no race or are of mixed race" category. They get to hate on every other group at the same time.
Is there a solution? Or is "diversity" unworkable?

Are you kidding ,We group by like-mindedness,survival,strengh and color at some point.If one choose's to believe we are all alike,you are sadly mistaken.
You would have to explan "Diversity in culture's"if all was equal.
There are alot of people I don't want to be around,only because of there upbringing,and yes,I will stick with my own race.

The consulting field has made billions off of "diversity". It's been the human resources trip word for about 6 years now. They seem to think that educating each race on the nuiances of another or serving different ethnic foods at lunch is going to bring people closer together. When I take my smallest dog to puppy day care he always spends more time with other shih-tzu's. Like people, he is most comfortable with his own kind and I don't think that makes you a racist.
My girl friend who is a speach pathologist for a large school district was forced to sit through 8 hrs of instruction of how to deal with Muslim children and their special needs. She is still waiting for the 8 hr instruction telling Muslim children how to assimilate in the US school system.
The problem with America was, is and always will be lawyers. Ship them to China on a leaky boat and we would all be better off.

There’s nothing wrong with Liking your own kind more then others. That’s "Natural"
Our Gov and society has gotten this one all screwed up to say the least. Racism doesn’t necessarily mean, "HATE" at all. It means you Prefer your own race. This wasn’t that big of a deal until a different skin color got involved and then BOOM.
What sleighs me about the Govs and cultures lack in understanding Basic Human Nature is firts off we are ALL Tribal and most likely always will be. A problem with the Govs and Minorities perpetuation of the racism issue is we really cant get to understand it until we stop the "Titles" people want to be called. African American, Mexican American Etc. When that keeps happening it DEFEATS their purpose of "blending in" and again it separates their culture from the mass. I call it misplaced Pride.
Could you imagine if all the races and cultures practiced this in the U.S. how the "politically correct " News media would read.
"Today a German American was hurt in a car crash when an African American plowed into him because a Mexican American was broadside buy a Jewish American. Meanwhile a Puerto Rican American stopped to assist and called an Irish American to get help. A group of Polish Americans Assisted in the Rescue" blah blah blah."
I see today’s cultures not wanting to assimilate into America as our forefathers did. That again helps continue the racism issue. The Gov Dems learned to Exploit that to get votes.
That also keeps alive the rubber stamping “Racist” to misdirect actual facts of different Races and their impact on a socity of crime and trash. The differences of how certain cultures live in the U.S. Yet there are plenty of documentation and Gov Sites to show those differences of parity..
Lest look at how the Gov/Dems implemented the Civil Rights in de segregation of the schools with total disregard to Freedom and CHOICE of EVERYONE involved on all sides and obviously forgot to plug in the basic Human Factor equation. At that point while catering to one part of society ( for votes) the other part of society had their Freedom stripped. A natural succession of this would have been the way to go as it does today. The residuals of that Movement has been an issue for a long time on all sides.
Some years ago there was a school that had TWO separate Home coming dances. Part of the school was white and the other black. The Students, Black and White ALL agreed this was the way they wanted it to be and it Worked out very Well..
Look at how our cities delvoped by natural segregation. Some of the biggest cities are basically all one race. Look at the predominant t cultures and give it enough time segregation WILL be at the State-by-State Level without a doubt if that natural trend continues.
Take the Govs Dem theory a step further and it could end up like this.
“Today out of Washington the President signed a “Hate Bill” saying you can’t hate your X wife or X husband., that’s being discriminate towards divorced people!!” It’s not that far fetched.
The bottom line is the Gov brainwashed us to a point that not only are we supposed to be ashamed for natural feelings but we become so defensive of that we state in a conversation “I’m not racist” BUT, and then go on and too carefully choose words to convey how we feel. Those words then gets shot down under the guise of RUBBER STAMPING. So how on earth does ANYONE THINK this will ever be resolved let alone addressed and talked about honestly???
Most of the White people AVOID public conversation of races like the Plague. So How’s that working Out America?? Freedom of Speech is chipped away. Maybe it will change since Obamas wrote his book and in it he says “those white people will do ya” Funny how when its reversed its accepted by that race and the other race is told to keep their mouth Shut.

What I would like to know is how is it anyone's GD business what my racial views are? I could hate every race but my own on the face of the earth and who gives a crap! The only thing that people need to concentrate on is not allowing discrimination and that is all.

The Court records show the runaway slave if to be a slave wanted a White Slave master. The African Black Slave master argued I BOUGHT my slave and I OWN HIM!! The Virginia Court ruled in the Favor of the African Master according to the court records. Theirs one for "black History Month"
What you aren't aware of is back then if you could afford to buy a slave you received "head rights" This was an incentive program for the colonies to GROW FOOD. The first Slaves were White in the New world. They were auctioned on the Block Also. They did not fair well in the heat and thousands Died. Britain sent their White Pheasant Scurvy to the Americas as Slaves and yes; many times they were Chained in the belly of ships in port for weeks before sailing. Britain had a "cast" system. I am sorry, but if you like someone more because they are white like you, then you are a racist. There is no way that is not racist. You are all essentially using the argument "I am racist, but it's okay to be racist because racism is natural."
This is why the Republican party is becoming obsolete: they can't accept people who aren't the same as them. Not everyone, but a lot us.
Do you think racism only exists in the context of skinheads and the KKK?

I suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder is a racist remark to under those circumstances. But I am sorry, but the only 'pretty' black models are the half-caste/quarter caste/octoroon ones.
But dark eyes are prettier than aryan ones.

no...you have the right...to hate as you say..."certain people" because of their direct interaction with you..to hate an entire demographic because of the actions of those whom you've associated with is delusionsal at best.
As for racism...no..it's not natural, it's learned, and propagated.
