By gaaaaawd if he does they need to give him the boot at first chance. Enough of politicians ruling us, we rule them & it's way past time we the people remind them of it...... Last edited on Tue Nov 3rd, 2009 07:56 am by lightoftruth

Emaus_40 wrote: I'm noticing so far the Lib response is not actually a response at all. Seriously. No mention of the topic at hand. The closest was Mal who claims that VA and NC are "blue states". Isn't VA about to elect a Republican governor? How blue is that?
In a vote for the Governorship of Virginia all conservatives can think of is how they can turn this vote against President Obama. Virginia, oh yeah... if there's time.
And apparently up in New York's 23rd District they have in candidate Hoffman a man who is unaware of the local issues who is being pushed by President Obama haters and as for those local issues, oh yeah... if there's time.
Now, given just those two examples of the priorities being expressed... how much of a response should one give to another example of obsession over common sense?

If you will notice, I didn't say a word,,,,,,,,,
I dont think he's the one with the problem here, Mal. This story is very pertinent to US politics and how the American people, who have just realized that they have elected a dictator-wannabe, are about to soundly reject both Obama and his ultra-liberal Democrat allies.
You guys are so drunk with power that any threat to it, including threads like this one, cause a huge psychological reaction. It's funny, how you recoil from Thelightoftruth!

PAT, I have to disagree. The Democrats and the Left have clearly not moved beyond race. If anything they have made it even more divisive than ever by playing the race card non-stop against anyone and everyone who opposes the President. It is really quite disgusting and an ironic step backwards when Obama's election should have been a huge step forward in race relations.
How dare accuse the Dems of anything when they were the party to nominate and elect the first black president. They were also the to nominate a woman for veep. Democrats have always been in forefront of civil rights. These are facts you can't dispute.

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't` eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
If a liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a person of color is conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.
If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.

| Let's review LoT. In 1984 I voted for Walter Mondale. In 1988 I voted for Michael Dukakis. In 1992 I voted for William Clinton. In 2000 I voted for Al Gore Jr. Last I checked they are all white men. There is more evidence of racism on your part because you never voted for a black for president. The. Common denomintor ofcourse is that all the men I voted for were Democrats.

And had Bush been the FIRST black running against Gore, can we assume you would not have voted for him?????

The sociofascist liberals judge people by the color of thier skin, not by the content of their character.

But there are deep doubts among many Virginians about some of his major policies, including what is derided as "socialised" healthcare and increased government spending to revive the economy. These doubts are expected to play an important part in delivering a Republican victory next week.
"If Obama doesn't learn that this country is not on the far left, he's going to give the Republicans the presidential election next time," said Breeden.
