The question is: why do the Democrats hate Black people? It's obvious that voting for them all these years has done absolutely nothing for the Black community as a whole, yet the Dems keep putting the message out there that their only hope for salvation is to keep doing so... that's some serious covert hostility on the part of so-called "compassionate" liberals!
The Dems have them in a different form of bondage/slavery and it is self serving I assure you.
Maybe if Republicans stop giving our good paying jobs to other countries then they could pull themselves out of bondage.
How can you blame the current situation on Republicans? There are hardly any in office right now. Your guys are in charge!
And, if you want to blame some single thing for outsourcing, blame corporate taxes. The US has the 2nd highest corporate tax rate, next to Japan.
The current situation is the result of 30 years of Republican policy of deregulation and free trade treaties that benefitted the corporations and not the middle class, union busting, putting 10 trillion onto our national debt and cutting taxes for the upper class.
US Corporation taxed 2nd highest in US causing companies to go to other countries. The new Fiat plant is being built in Mexico after Crycilar got bail out money from the Dems.
Unions brought the down fall of US auto makers. Ford is making a come back if the unions do not kill it.
Upper class pay 98% of taxes. How much do you want them to pay?
They dont pay 98% of their own taxes. They pay not much more than I do percentage wise so give me a break about the suffering rich being taxed to death while they spend 10000 dollars to fly first class to europe to have a meeting they write off on me to pay.
I am tired of you guys villianizing unions. Union workers get less pay than Toyota non union workers. What is bringing US automakers down is their drop in quality back in the 70's that gave the Japanese a foothold and advantage. Lousy quality the fault of management. Plus the huge disparity in legacy costs the Japanese do not have. Plus the fact that their govt helps them and ours doesnt. Plus Health care costs their govt pays....
They pay 98% of the icome taxes paid, not 98% of their income. A write off is only in direct proportion to one tax bracket, say around 35%. I believe our government just helped them out with billions of tax dollars we do not have. Should have let them go under. Lousy quality waas fault of workers and managment.
Of course those with 98% of the wealth of the country are going to pay 98% of the taxes. That has nothing to do with anything.
Why would workers hurt themselves by putting out poor quality?
It is management want quantity not quality. It is the workers that fight for quality. Go into a union factory and see for yourself.

It does address the fact they got tax cuts. It is hard to cut ones taxes that pays none. If cutting taxes was not a goods idea why don't the Dems kill it now in place of waiting.
I have been in Union factories and did not see any fighting. Saw a lot of standing aroound.

Yeah lets blame what some people do so we dont have to deal with the true causes. Let's create Reagan's bull welfare queen story so we dontr feel guilty about wanting to throw kids on the street starving. "True causes" of poverty??? Are you sure you want to go there??? ![[allamerican]](/forums/themes/default/allamerican.gif) ![[allamerican]](/forums/themes/default/allamerican.gif) ![[allamerican]](/forums/themes/default/allamerican.gif)
Go where you want. Individual voluntary causes of poverty----
Dropping out of school
teen pregnancy
unwed motherhood
abandonment of family
having children you can't afford or don't want to support
committing crimes
drug and alcohol abuse
idleness on entitlements

Sarah Palin's Daughter is an unwed pregnant teen mother. Dont let that confuse you into thinking it is a cause of poverty.
There are plenty of poverty stricken through out the world that have children to help them help the family. Not a cause of poverty.
Commiting crimes is not a cause of poverty. Ask Bernie Madoff.
Drug and Alcohol abuse is not a cause of poverty. Many wealthy and successful people are druggies. Ask Rush Limbaugh.
Idleness on entitlements is not a cause of poverty. Many rich people feel entitled and sit on their ass.
You have not listed a single cause of poverty. What you have listed are some conditions more inclined to those in poverty but are not isolated to the poor.

That is a very interesting list of "volutary" causes of poverty. Voluntary is, of course, the key word. The idea of free will (voluntas, voluntatis, f. = will) is a philosophical conundrum. The notion has been rejected by both the left (Marx) and the right (Calvin) and is generally accepted as an axiom which may be assumed but which cannot be demonstrated.
For this reason it is not possible to have a useful debate about whether, or the degree to which. any of the above behaviors are truly voluntary. But it is an interesting list nonetheless.

What a wonderful example the Palin's have set for America.

Yes, there is a big price to pay for electing liberal politicians. The children are never exempt from their parents stupidity. Our children's children will be paying for Obama's reckless spending and corporate welfare scheme. They will be waiting for healthcare while working for the Chinese. Yes the children will suffer. Nice to see you again Forky, hope all is well.

They have to pay off the 10 Trillion the financial conservatives added to the National debt first.
Dems rob you. Cons rob your children.

If I understand the distinguished poster correctly, any act committed without immediate, concrete threat of death is to be considered voluntary. Oh well, we all have to start someplace, I guess.

Yep, most of which can be attributed to liberal welfare programs.
If you're such a fiscal conservative why do you endorse Obama who plans to add nine trillion to the debt? Do you hate our children? Do you want them to be slaves to the Chinese.
Gotta love the left, destroy our schools, destroy the economy then give the people a pittance so they have just enough to keep them alive.
Nice plan Mr Mhealthcare to let them die slowly?

Dems rob you. Cons rob your children.
Why do members of the party of responsibility always blame others?
Evaluating problems and assigning blame is never easy except when it's with government. As a general rule if it's failing, social security, Medicare, welfare, education ect.. it's a liberal program. Stevie Wonder can see that.
