The liberals are panicking. They try to cover it up with false bravado, but they're crapping bricks.
An extra special thanks to the voters in VA and NJ for upsetting them so.

Big_Mike. Don't forget about the New Democrat/Liberal Mantra they dug out of the trash yesterday. The one where they claim....Losing to them is Winning!
I wonder how many of them are running to Las Vegas and putting their Obamabucks down, and betting it all?
Time to open up more Psych offices to help them handle their Whining from Winning.

I hate to be the doomsayer type, but be careful, guys. This was undoubtedly a nod of respect to the conservative ideals this country was founded upon, but it's a double-edged blade.
Voter turnout was atrocious. It's always bad on off years, but it was extremely bad this year. That is not a good thing. The fastest path to Obama's dream kingdom is voter apathy.
And, just as importantly, now they're pissed. They're going to get extremely ugly, extremely vicious and even more divisive than they've managed already. I suspect we'll be seeing a much less charismatic version of Obama over the next few months. The gloves will be off, count on it.

Actually I am hoping that is what we do see. Everytime he shows his anger, etc., I think it just hurts him much worse. And the fact that so many of the dem legislators have already been willing to not hold their tongues at townhalls, angering their constituents, that will just get worse, and they will pay for it in the end. I really believe this.

I agree, this is no time to let down our guard. We need to keep handing BamCo defeats. This bunch is dangerous as I've said sooooooo many times. I also think it is good for the people to see bammers fly off the handle. The more they get to know him the better................

Well, I welcome any showing of the true nature of our current batch of lefties and the true ultimate consequences of their acts. I think both will be eye-openers for the electorate, and will probably result in more GOP seats in Congress. And keep in mind for 2010, all we really have to do is pick up a couple of seats in the Senate to be able to tell 'em a big fat emphatic NO to their taxy-spendy agenda.
But what would really be good now is a new "Contract with America", containing credible and realistic tasks that speak to pocketbook issues and long term stability and security, economically and with respect to foreign policy. Issues involving taxation, property rights and job growth (which the GOP could just own) come leaping to mind.

I am ready to fight. I am NOT willing to just fade away and give up OUR nation. I gave most of my life trying to make it possible for ALL OF US to live here, and to fight for what is RIGHT, HONEST, and TRUE.
I may be older than most, unable to get around as I used to. But no matter what. When I retired from the military in 1995. The OATH I took every time I reenlisted..DID NOT RETIRE. In fact...until the day I no longer have a heartbeat. I will obey, and follow that oath.
This is MY country too! And Nobody....but Nobody is going to take it from me because they call themselves Congress members, or the Little Boy Pretend President.
He was voted into office....by fooling millions of Americans.
And those same Millions are now learning....they can VOTE HIM OUT the same way.

As we say in the Navy, "trash-in "trash-out" when an idea doesn't work, I'm looking forward to see the dems lose more seats next Nov. Virginia & New Jersey is just the beginning. Time to get our country back to its rightful owners, us! the people, not these scumbags from Chicago. ![[usa]](/forums/themes/default/usa.gif)

Any time Pelosi's face doesn't just slide off, down her chest while standing at the Speakers position in the House...is a GOOD NIGHT for Nancy.
She is the ONLY woman in congress who SPEAKS for BOTOX!

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels..
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it’s a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed.
If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.
If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A liberal will delete it because he's "offended".
