American right-wingers load up on guns and ammo when Obama gets elected, because of the imminent threat of socialism.  This is an irrational reaction.

Hezbollah loads up on guns and ammo after Israel uses massively disproportionate force against the Gaza strip.  This is a rational reaction.

Learn more about Real Politik, rather than Fantasyland Politik, and you will have a clearer picture of why things happen in the middle-east.

Or you can just keep believing what Israel and the AIPAC owned U.S. government keep saying about events.

Would you care to explain, in a factual and reasonable manner, what Hezbollah and the Nazis have in common?

Why yes, yes indeed.

The proposition is quite simple, is there any political group that you can name that doesn't deserve to be 'rearmed?'    Hmmm?     One might also inquire as to what 'reason' would need to be given in order that a particular political group be 'disqualified' for rearmament.   Does the Shining Path deserve to be rearmed?   How about the Khemer Rouge?   How about we rearm the IRA as well?   They surely deserve a few boxes of rocket-propelled grenades, eh?   By the way, the Nazi's needed to be 'rearmed' as a result of the totally absurd demands from the Versailles Treaty.   You betcha.   I think the King of England even agreed.   ;).

The day Israel started shelling civilian targets in Gaza last December/January was the day their leaders became terrorists to me.

In my opinion, they are no better then the terrorists they are trying to kill.

I agree they were terrorists. To deliberately start firestorm's in many German cities - as the Allies did in WW2 - is a warcrime in my opinion.

But no better then the Nazi's? Not even close.

What the Allies did was taking war WAY too far.

What the Nazi's did was disgusting beyond compare.

Watch the movie 'Conspiracy' - an apparently relatively accurate portrayal of the Wanssee conference. The Nazi's were full of men so screwed up with misinformation, ignorance, hate and arrogance as to be beyond immagination.

They were human beings who allowed themselves to be distorted into human devils.

By the way - the movie Conspiracy is not my only information on that era. But it is the easiest way for most people to grasp it.

In my opinion, both sides hate each other and are not interested in peace. Why are we sticking our heads in this again?

Going into details into who is more to blame, or who is more evil, is a waste of time.

The Khmer Rouge lost, the Nazis lost, the Shining Path lost, and the IRA came to a political settlement with the U.K.  Last I checked, Hezbollah is still alive and kicking as a political and paramilitary entity in Lebanon.  As long as we're selling the Israelis weapons that they are using to kill Lebanese and Palestinians civilians, then I really don't see a problem with Hezbollah buying weapons that will primarily be employed against Israeli soldiers.  Maybe we should let Hezbollah buy better rockets.  Then  they wouldn't have to rely on the spray and pray method of bombardment.

Your posting history is one of answering questions with completely unrelated questions.  What the f**k do Nazis have to do with Hezbollah?  You have an irritating propensity for using red herrings to distract from the fact that you never have a point to make.

You're going to seriously compare Hamas' use of glorified model rockets to Hitler's invasions of all of Europe?

Seriously???

A fascinating leap of logic.    'They' were, must have been, all terrorists.    They knowingly, and willingly, killed innocent civilians.   The death toll of innocent civilians was staggering.     All guilty.   ....   Churchill, Marshall, Harris, Patton, George VI, Montgomery, Roosevelt, McArthur, Bradley, Dowding, Brooke, de Gaulle, Mountbatten etc etc.....

All terrorists, every last one of em.     ...according to your definition.

Do you read in the English language, or is it Sanskrit only?

Please point to where I made mention of "Hitler's invasion of Europe?"   Only someone knowledgable in Sanskrit could miss the point.

Seriously.

Well of course they were.

It is un-deniable that the point of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was to terrorize the Japanese into surrendering.

Can you really deny that fact?

Well, actually yes.

According to your thoroughly loopy definition, all armies engaged in military activity are therefore necessarily engaged in terrorist activities.    Right.    uh-huh.   How very silly.   Do you understand what the difinition of terrorism is?

The two atom bombs actually saved millions of Japanese lives.
