I said the firestorm bombing of cities.
Patton, George VI, Monty, McArthur, Bradley, de Gaulle and Mountbatten had absolutely nothing directly to do with the firestorms.
And of the others, only Harris (to my knowledge) had direct responsibility.
Throw in LeMay and that would be the two I would guess had the most and only direct responsibility for supervising the firebombing of civilians ona massive scale.
And btw, I consider the atomic bombings to have saved far more lives then they took and were probably not acts of terrorism. They undoubtedly shortened the war incredibly, saved millions of lives (mostly Japanese during the planed Allied invasion of Japan) and saved tens of thousands of Allied prisoners who the Japanese instructed were to be killed were the home islands ever invaded.
The firestorms didn't shorten the war to any significant extent (imo). They just killed hundreds of thousands of civilians.

See the word "shelling?" The implication here being that 'shelling' civilian targets causes you to declare instigators of said shelling to be terrorists. Right? Look-up and read that again. Go ahead. We'll wait. Now. Patton, Monty, Bradley, de Gaulle and probably even Lord Mountbatten instigated 'shelling' of civilian areas. You betcha. No question. Do ya need me to prove it? Therefore, according to your definition, they are, ...no! ...they must be! ...terrorists. Yup. To bring this full circle, ...How very silly.

My uncle in the Army (WWII, Korea, Vietnam). My father in the Navy (Korea). And I built systems for the DoD (Ft. Belvoir).
And that's after we were subjected to a Genocidal purge of our peoples from our ancestoral lands, and herded onto concentration camps called "reservations".

You have no clue who I am or who my ancestors were. One thing is clear to me, from your words, you're a racist. You hate European Americans, apparently due to what you percieve as a wrong that occurred over 150 years ago. It's time to get over it.
First of all, most of my ancestors are German/Norwegian, who arived here after the Indian Wars were over.
Second of all, if you go back far enough, all kinds of ancestors did all kinds of bad things to eachother. Who cares about what happened 6 or 7 generations ago? To carry around hatred for events that happened that long ago is simply moronic.
