Reporting Seven Dead
Reporting Twelve Injured
Reporting One Suspect in custody - Two at large
All personnel on base are being told to take cover inside.
All preliminary information. No idea yet who these shooters are. Shooting started in a barracks. One suspect in PX, surrounded by SWAT officers.
Can not confirm whether or not the shooters are civilians or soldiers.
Reporting "Warning" Sirens on base now going off.
God please protect our heroes and their families.

madmex, cygonaut, not funny.
There are people being killed, there are people still at risk, there are families on that base.
This is not political. Please stow the nonsense.

Okay, so far reporting that all killed as well as the shooters are all soldiers.
FOX reporting: 20 injured, two still at large.
Again this is all preliminary.
Will quit updates for now until we get something solid.
God watch over the wounded, the souls of those killed and the families of all.

Kay Baily Hutchinson says she has been told thirty injured as well, as LOT has reported.
We need to all keep in mind the preliminary nature of this, we all know how this goes at these moments.
Also, it's important to keep in mind that men in uniform does not necessarily mean that these men are actually among our heroes serving our country.

| There are 30 to 40 thousand personnel on that site -- thousands of armed and trained soldiers. So how come one suspect is still at large?

Ft. Hood is a "city".

OK, a city. But how come one suspect is still at large given the thousands and thousands of trained soldiers there?
