Gardner started the season off pretty strong. He weakened as it went on.
Matsui will not be around in 2010.
Damon will probably be the DH.
Swisher is unpredictable.

Jason Bay is a free agent. You can have Magglio Ordonez for a bag of balls and a couple of bats.

I thought this was going to be about what the heck we're all doing now. I turned on the TV last night and the only thing I had worthwhile was the DC sniper and once again how the Famous But Incomedants have let us down.
I will have to go through Docs list and see who is available for a Phillies 3rd baseman but that longass list just hurts my head !! ![[fallingdown]](/forums/themes/default/laughing.gif)

I really wish i was man but don shane just talked about it on ch.7 news tonight and added that (you may want to sit down for this) the YANKEES are very interested in curtis being there next centerfielder. I'm sick over this if its true and it really seems to be.

Polanco to meet with phillies about playing 3rd base.
Yankees,Boston and Chicago Cubs reportedly interested in dealing for Granderson.
ESPN reporting that any deal will also include a "Dontrelle Willis"tax, meaning they have to take him and his 11 mill. salary as well.

Why would the TIGERS let Granderson and Polanco go? Who would replace the two of them? This doesn't make sense to me...

If they are just trying to dump salaries, which is the prevailing thought on wdfn, then they should start with magglio, inge, robertson, bonderman, raburn and willis, not cg,polly or jax.
