**snip**
Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.

If the president's communications apparatus can't inform -- and protect -- their boss during tense moments when the country needs to see a focused commander-in-chief and a compassionate head of state, it has disastrous consequences for that president's party and supporters.
All the president's men (and women) fell down on the job Thursday.  And Democrats across the country have real reason to panic.
**snip**

I'm kinda wondering when it's going to blamed on American's giving the Fort Hood perpetrator a hard time because he was Muslim.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

He took a lot of heat for opening his mouth w/o all the facts in the Gates incident.  Looks to me like he's just learned a lesson.

Let's try not to hold him to impossible double standards here.

Edit:

That's something liberals would do.

Thank you Mike, for responding...
I am not necessarily disturbed by "what" Obama said, more of how long it took him to get to it. When I heard that he would be stepping up to speak, I watched and waited. When he stepped up to the podium and started speaking, it was not about the shooting. I actually thought they accidentally were showing some previous footage of something entirely unrelated. Approximately 2 minutes into the speech, he commented on it. It was just odd to me.

I wonder if the White House has sent flowers to the killer's hospital room.

Did FDR give shout outs when Pearl was attacked or did he get to the point. The nation was waiting for the president to speak on the killings, not discuss what he will do for Indian affairs and give shout outs. No one in their right mind would have done what he did on that day. He got it exactly azz backwards just as everything else he does.......He is basically flawed at the core..........
