I think we should all just leave. Like, everyone in this entire board. The radical conservatives are fuc*ing this up for all of us. Some of you guys make the most brilliant arguments and then someone undoubtedly butts in and says something like YES WELL MAYBE YOU ARE GAY YUOURSELFS NOW YOU ARE BACKED INTO A CORNER YOU LIBERAL. I'm sick of this shi*. They want the board so bad, let them have it. They're under a false impression that just because they can put down someone with a hideously childish statement that they are affecting the world in any way. Let them "win" this one. Or we could like, not post at all for a week and see what happens. I am frustrated beyond belief. Who's with me? |

After several months, I rarely get any comments on my postings from Rodack or Buzz. I also don't go looking for their comments. There are some good people here, and if you don't like the conservatives, then feel welcome to stay on this side of the boards. Democracy only works when people care enough to keep arguing their beliefs. Don't give up. XT |

There are alot of good people here from the other side. I don't agree with all of their views, but they're sensible and don't resort TO ALL CAP WRITING BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR SMALL PENIS SIZE. I actually like talking to quite a few of the conservatives. But then there are some that I avoid like the plague. If a thread title is all in caps, it's Buzzsaw's. I automatically filter them out now. Rodack's always end in a question mark and the titles have Needless Capitalization. Ignore the bad ones, talk to the good ones. It's just that easy. |

See, the thing is, I'm not a liberal. Don't worry, I'm not against liberals at all, but I'm extremely moderate (like RIGHT in the middle) and sway just a tiny bit to the right in terms of political stuff. I got kicked off their forum, though, because when it comes to parties, I'm an independent who leans more to the democratics. I'm not saying give up. I don't believe in giving up. But what if we all didn't post anything for a week? |

None of these CAPS guys are ever going to vote Dem. But, by learning their arguments, seeing our arguments take shape, and understanding the facts, I am prepared to have political discussion with moderates and fence sitters. Also, by watching these conservs go off the deep end, we learn which buttons to push and how hard. Example, getting a conserv to say that the US is a Christian nation and Christianity should rule and all others should change. (yes, that is a post on here). I think getting Conservs to say this out loud will do turn more moderate, mainstream Christians off than anything we can do. Knowing how to push them into their extremism and allow their extremism to do them in. |

all you have to do when talking to these repugs is ask them to talk facts. and try and keep them on topic. when they talk facts, they lose. trust me, they will try and change the subject. you say bush, they say clinton. don't let them. then have them post a link from a credible source. the fun never ends. especially when they stop responding. the best conversation i ever had was when i had republicans telling me clinton didn't try to get bin laden and that he was given a chance to get him by sudan and i totally shut there house down with facts and a link even from their beloved fox news. because it's an urban legend. half of them watch so much fox and drudge when you present facts they will just stop responding. i was on another site this am and a guy was saying the swift boat vets were totally credible. posted some facts and now he is talking about how dems are liberal elitists and didn't even respond to my facts. just have fun with it |
