DJ Tiësto ... our "hoop in bange dagen" when it comes to Dutch music  Do you know, Joe, that Chips and Within Temptation are doing very well in other European countries (Spain, Germany, Austria etc.)? Finally!

Temptation/Soulvation:shock:, sorry, I don't know Temptation. Yeah, I know Ronald, we made an MTV 'reclame' for a sponsored gig they did in Rotterdam a couple of years back. And we bump into each other now and again. He has a studio above a record store not far from Nighttown. Whats he like? A very honest, peaceful talented guy, and one of my favorite people in the business. I can't give too much away, but I know almost everybody who's anybody within X-GEN music, or I did, because I slipped back into the underground and the studio (I'm getting old ha ha!) And the X-Gen is now the Y-Gen!...:D

You don't know Within Temptation? Shame on you! ;) They're the gothic band. Anyway, it's cool to hear you are a DJ and such, and you know people in that business. Personally I like some trance (but not all), I'd rather go for rock music / garage.

The last CD I "bought"? :D OK, the last CD which I really bought was from ... Evanescence (gothic). Oh, and I also got this CD from the Counting Crows, an old album, but as I just said, I got it, I did not buy it. Before Evanescence, the last CD I bought must have been from Kane.

Yeah, I was moved too by the death of Guusje. She was pretty woman, and to me she sounded very nice, very intelligent ... cancer just s*cks! The song he made, and the videoclip for her ... it gave me a "brok in mijn keel" :(

If you like the Counting Crows, you should listen to their song "Omaha". It's from 1994 or so, but God, that song is just IN-CRE-DI-BLE!
