Hello,

We are a family with two boys ages 6 and 8. We are considering visiting  Niagara Falls for this summer. 1) What month is a good time to visite, 2)how many days? 3) what is there to do? 4)Any suggestions?

Thank you.:) [usa]

It gets awfully humid up there in the summer,  You might want to avoid the middle of the summer. The major holidays are super crowded. there are amusement parks, nature walks, boat rides in the gorge, there are beaches and museums and all sorts of things for every age and activity level. It would probalby be best to look up the tourtist information from the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce online.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't think it would get humid in there. We were thinking about mid August, but I guess I need to reconsider. :)By any chance, do you have that visitor's website ready?

Embassy suites...... Best view for the dollar (both Cad and Usd) if you plan to spend some $$ for a room with a view!

If you want to stay away from the tourist traps and visit Niagara Falls for its natural beauty, http://www.budgetniagara.com has  a lot of useful information.  It is built by a resident of the City of Niagara Falls, and is an information site only.
